Humour is a tool that can teach your valuable team how to sell your product more effectively. It gives them an edge and a point of difference in their interactions with others. When used appropriately, humour is the shortest distance between two people. Sharing a laugh can be an instant way to gain trust, create immediate 'easy' rapport and leads to the long term development of lasting relationships with customers, clients and colleagues.

Ask a child what they want to do when they grow up. They will choose the occupation they percieve to be the most fun. Ever heard an eight year old say: 'I want to be an accountant'!? This doesn't mean accountants are dull. I personally know a few very creative accountants! So why, as adults, do we think that work isn't supposed to be fun?

Work enjoyment is a key factor in achieving workplace goals and ensuring ongoing commitment to your company. Finding the fun in your chosen career is a vital key point in ensuring success and happiness. Workshop Outline

So why stand up comedy?

Stand Up Comedy is the Fire Walking of personal and professional development. It's about facing one of your greatest fears and realising that you have the capacity to not only take it on, but to achieve your desired outcomes. The comedian is in a sense, a magician, someone who is able to present their material 'fresh', saying something they may have said several hundred times as though it were the first time. It is this part of the illusion, that humbles audiences and helps create the myth that all comedians are geniuses. We aren't. We are just masters of connecting with the audience and creating powerful, direct, active communication.

The Path Of Laugh is a four hour humour based workshop that will locate your inner comedian. The presentation involves supervised group work, individual presentations and critiques, and group brainstorming and improvisation exercises. The session is targeted towards the key outcome of creating a workshop presentation for the evening dinner by nominated participants from each group. Smaller groups will have the opportunity to all experience a performance. Each and every participant will experience the rewards of using humour to create more powerful and effective communication. Workshop sizes - from 10-50.
